About the Role
We’re looking for a Front-End Engineer with 2–3 years of experience to join our Atlanta-based team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the user experience of our core product and implementing clean, maintainable, and scalable code. Reporting to the Director of Technology, a seasoned back-end engineer, you’ll collaborate with the Development and User Experience teams to bring designs to life and refine our application to delight our customers. This position is perfect for a self-starter who loves tackling new challenges, has an eye for design, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- CSS Modularization: Break down and modularize existing CSS to align with best practices, ensuring consistency across the application.
- Style Guide Implementation: Work with our UX team to implement a defined style guide and propagate its usage across all front-end development.
- Feature Development: Collaborate with the User Experience team to implement new features and optimize existing ones, balancing design fidelity with technical practicality.
- Front-End Ownership: Gradually take full ownership of the front-end experience for our main product.
- Team Collaboration: Engage with back-end engineers, UX designers, security and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the front end with the rest of the system.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2–3 years of professional front-end development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in React, JavaScript, and CSS (including CSS frameworks like Tailwind). Familiarity with tools like Webpack is a plus.
- Design Acumen: A good design eye, with experience implementing style guides and ensuring pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Communication: Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
- Problem-Solving: Eager to tackle complex problems with innovative solutions.
