React Developer

We at Innovecture are hiring for a "React Developer" to expand our team, this is in Orlando, FL. You will work across various Innovecture client teams and apply your technical expertise to some of the most complex and challenging technology problems.

As a React front-end developer, you will be responsible for implementing visual elements that users see and interact with in a web application. You will work closely with the UI/UX designers and other team members to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

Developing new user-facing features using React

Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use

Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code

Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Collaborating with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability

Ensuring web design is optimized for smartphones

Adhering to best practices in software development and agile methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Proven experience as a React Front End Developer or a similar role

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model

Thorough understanding of React and its core principles

Experience with popular React workflows (such as Flux or Redux)

Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript

Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)

Skills

Strong proficiency in JavaScript

Thorough understanding of React

Experience with Redux or similar state management tools

Familiarity with Git version control

Understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3

Experience with RESTful APIs

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token (JWT)
