Purpose
We’re seeking a UI-focused frontend engineer to own the mobile user experience of our responsive Angular web application. Your primary responsibility will be crafting polished, intuitive, and high performance mobile UIs. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and mobile developers to deliver an outstanding user experience. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building beautiful, functional interfaces who has a strong sense of ownership and is willing to dive into any area necessary to continually improve our products.
Responsibilities
- Own and enhance our Angular mobile web application
- Implement and refine responsive UI designs to create engaging user experiences
- Collaborate closely with design and development teams to bring concepts to life
- Continuously improve the visual polish, usability, and performance of the app
- Participate in defining UI best practices and design patterns within the team
- Adopt and integrate generative AI tools into your workflow to enhance productivity
Requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience building responsive web/mobile frontends using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (Angular preferred; React or Vue acceptable)
- Proficiency with TypeScript and modern ES6+ JavaScript
- Excellent eye for detail, aesthetics, and UX
- Experience with a popular design tool (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.)
- Ability to work seamlessly with designers and engineers to translate concepts into reality
- Comfortable learning new technologies and contributing across the stack when needed
- Openness to experimenting with and adopting generative AI tools to streamline tasks and foster innovation
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Android UI development (Kotlin/Java)
- Experience with iOS UI development (Swift)
- Familiarity with mobile backend integration (REST APIs, authentication, etc.)
- Formal design background or substantial experience working closely with design teams
- Familiarity with UI animation, accessibility, and performance optimization
Salary & Benefits
The estimated hiring salary range for this position is $130,000-$160,000. The actual salary will be based on a variety of job-related factors, including geography, skills, education and experience. The range is a good faith estimate and may be modified in the future. This role is also eligible for a range of benefits including medical, dental and 401K retirement plan.
